PRIVACY POLICY – Information sheet pursuant to and by effect of Article 13 of EU Reg. 2016/679 – GDPR – Information on the processing of personal data collected from the data subject.

In compliance with the provisions of EU Reg. 2016/679 (European Regulations for the protection of personal data) we hereby provide the necessary information regarding the processing of the personal data you provide us. The information herein does not pertain to other websites that may be consulted through links on the website of the Data Controller’s domain, and the Data Controller is not to be considered in any way responsible for third-party websites. This information is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Reg. 2016/679 (European Regulations for the protection of personal data) and is also inspired by the provisions of EC Directive 2002/58, as amended by EC Directive 2009/136, regarding cookies, as well as the Guarantor Authority Provision for the protection of personal data regarding cookies dated 08.05.2014.

Personal data that may be processed, i.e., “personal data”, is any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person (the “data subject”); an individual is considered identifiable, either directly or indirectly, if they are associated with an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more features of their physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, financial, cultural or social identity (C26, C27, C30).

1 – THE DATA CONTROLLER, pursuant to Arts. 4 and 24 of EU Reg. 2016/679, is Giada—a sole shareholder company— worldwide licensee Jacob Cohën Company SpA, Viale Risorgimento N.56, 45011, Adria (RO), Italy, VAT number 00822110292, tax code 01313840249, e-mail address, in the person of the pro-tempore legal representative.  


The personal data provided will be processed, in compliance with the conditions of lawfulness pursuant to Art. 6 of EU Reg. 2016/679, for the following purposes:

  • using this website
  • legitimate interest (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f), as the legal basis of the processing
  • to respond to specific requests for information sent spontaneously to the addresses in the Contact Us area of ​​the website.  


The personal data provided will be communicated to data processors charged with processing the data (Article 28 of EU Reg. 2016/679) and/or as natural persons acting under the authority of the Data Controller and the Data Processor (Article 29 of EU Reg. 2016/679), for the purposes listed above in point 2. Specifically, the data will be communicated to:

– persons providing IT services for Giada Società on behalf of worldwide licensee Jacob Cohën Company SpA and telecommunications networks, including e-mail, newsletter and website management service providers

– freelance professionals, agencies or companies providing assistance or consultancy to the same

– the competent authorities in order to comply with legal obligations and/or provisions by public bodies, upon request.

Persons belonging to the aforementioned categories may perform the function of Data Processor, or operate in complete autonomy as separate Data Controllers. The list of data processors is constantly updated and available in writing from, or at the registered office of Giada sole shareholder company worldwide licensee Jacob Cohën Company SpA.


Data processing will be carried out via automated and manual means, using methods and tools aimed at guaranteeing maximum security and confidentiality, by subjects specifically appointed to do so. In compliance with the provisions of Art. 5 Paragraph 1 Letter e) of EU Reg. 2016/679, the personal data collected will be stored in a form that allows identification of data subjects for a period of time not exceeding that required for the purposes for which the personal data is to be processed. The period the personal data you provide will be stored depends on the purpose of the processing:

  • further to a request for contact (maximum 1 year)

These periods are determined on the basis of criteria that you, as the data subject, can get information about by writing to or the registered office of the Data Controller.


Apart from the specified data requires for browsing the website, the user is free to provide personal data. The provision of data may be optional or necessary, depending on the specific purpose for which the data is processed. Failure to provide data marked with the symbol * will make it impossible for you to obtain what you request or to use the services provided by the Data Controller.



You can exercise your rights as expressed in Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 by contacting the Data Controller, or the Data Processor, via the e-mail address

You have the right, at any time, to ask the Data Controller for access to your personal data, to rectify or erase the same, or to limit the processing of your data. Furthermore, you have the right to object, at any time, to the processing of your data (including automated processing, e.g. profiling), as well as to data portability. Without prejudice to any other administrative and judicial appeals, if you consider that the processing of data concerning you violates the provisions of EU Reg. 2016/679, pursuant to Art. 15, Letter f) of the aforementioned EU Reg. 2016/679, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Guarantor, and, with reference to Art. 6, Paragraph 1, Letter a), and Art. 9, Paragraph 2, Letter a), you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. In the event of a request for data portability, the Data Controller will provide you with the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, legible and computer-generated format, without prejudice to Paragraphs 3 and 4 of EU Reg. 2016/679 Article 20.
